I graduated H.S. from Prague, Oklahoma in 1991.

    I graduated in 1995 from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Elementary

    Education.  I also have an endorsement in Early Childhood Education.

I am currently in my 6th year of teaching. I have always taught here at Kremlin-Hillsdale.

I have taught 2nd grade, Jr. High Reading, and this is my 4th year in 4th grade. I have loved every grade/year that I have been at KHS, but 4th grade is my favorite grade/age so far. I love that they are still "kids" at this age. They like to come to school and enjoy my class. Yet they are old enough to be a little more independent and can figure out things on their own!

I am married to Bobby an alumni of Kremlin-Hillsdale. We will have been married 18 years in March.

We have two boys. Bobby is currently an 9th grader. He is involved in every sport and activity imaginable. If he were to choose I believe he would say baseball is his favorite. He plays on a traveling summer league team and I spend a lot of time chasing him from one ballpark to another.

Brett is currently a 6th grader. He is also very involved in sports. His favorite sport is also baseball. He too spends his summer traveling to local and out of town/state ball parks. His other love is art. He spends a lot of time drawing and sketching.  This works out nicely for me as I am NOT an artist. He will help out in my classroom when I need projects done!

My favorite things to do is watch baseball (of course)! It does not matter who is playing I love it all. The other teachers will say I am almost fanatical about it. My favorite MLB team is the St. Louis Cardinals. I also LOVE to read. I read every night at least a little bit. That is my favorite de-stresser.
