I was born and raised in the Enid area, going to Kremlin-Hillsdale school from Kindergarten until I graduated in 1991. I then continued my education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. I married my best friend, Doug. Had my first child, Haley and then graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education. After college, I substitute taught at a variety of schools in the area and then decided to stay home with our second child, Hannah. When Hannah was a bit older, I began working as a lead teacher at a daycare in Enid. I loved working in early childhood and returned to college part time to add early childhood classes to my resume. Soon after, I was hired back here at the school I graduated High School from and where my love of learning had formed.
